In Nevada, fighters 135-pounds and above must wear 10-ounce gloves. hmmm......sorry to go off subject but if they allow cotto to wear 8 ouncers does that mean pacquiao don't have to start using 10's when he jumps to 135?

just asking because a featheweight with 10 ouncers is more a detriment to him than such a heavy-handed , powerful welterweight having to use 10 ouncers.

Steve Kim said that for now it will be a one off thing until they review the rule in total so from what I gather unless a fighter or promoter petitions the NSAC to waive the rule they still have to fight with 10oz gloves

somehow I dont equate bitching and moaning with Cotto. The dude will fight anyone anytime and hopefully now anyplace. Cotto is a warrior flat out and I think deserves that latitude

Yeah how about you tell that to the 26 fighters out of the 32 that Miguel has no stopping power. This man has wrecked faces (Malignaggi), destroyed shoulders (Branco), and stopped many to the body (too many to mention). Yet he doesn't having stopping power. Get real man. He might not be a one punch KO artist but stopping power he does have.
