Don King will choose someone like old Golota, or perhaps give Chapman or Walker a title shot in exchange for the usual "options".
I'm kinda surprised that no-one has mentioned Valueev. Valueev is so huge and looks impossible to knock-out. I'd like to see Peter teeing off on that pumpkin-sized head.

Tunney: Try adding a poll to this thread. It could be interesting to see which opponent people would want.

And both Peter and Valueev are connected to King. That could make it possible although Valueev ain't in WBC top 10.

I considered adding a poll to the thread, but since there's about 15-20 possibilities and I'd need to leave some out, I decided not too.

Your call buddy. But you could use the names mentioned in this thread + an 'other' option.

I think that in this situation a fight is better than no fight at all, which is very likely to happen, with Peter tied up with Vitali till the end of the year (first it was Maskaev, now Vitali, the WBC is really breaking records...).

Briggs, Golota, T. Walker, JD Chapman, Tua, Arreola, Rahman, any of these names would be nice.

Virchis, Gomes, Dimitrenko, McCall, are more deserving, but they have a good chance at beating Peter, so I think Peter's camp will stay away from them.

If they do make a fight, they will probably go with the easier, more profitable option, which should be Golota/Briggs.

To make things worse, I heard the other day that Briggs is bigger than ever.
