Margarito is way too ****ing slow to ever give Floyd a fight. I don't think Mayweather gives a **** either way, but Cotto is definitely a better fighter. Still, just waaaaaaay too slow to deal with Mayweather, that goes for both guys.
Who Would Mayweather Rather Not Have To Deal With?

So you mean to tell me that Cotto did not look like being on an empty tank the last rounds with Mosley or even Judah? I don't agree with him by saying he lacks stamina, but you can't compare Cotto's stamina against a guy like Margarito.Smaller in height only. He's more stocky. More power in his legs which is where a majority of your punching power comes from. The base. Floyd has runners legs and we know why. Cottos chin was suspect as 140 when he was starching himself - this has been debunked 30 threads ago. Cotto landed 60 punches on Gomez in one round - yes it was Gomez - but once again Cotto landed 60 punches in one round. Suspect stamina? Since when? LMFAO. You're a clown.Comment

As far as I know, he still says Burton was his toughest. Not De La Hoya. After the fight, he said Oscar was one of his easiest fights and he was surprised how easy it was. He said Hatton was tough, but it's not like the fight was tough. Hatton was never close to winning more than a round or two. Burton wasn't winning rounds but he was landing some punches. Hatton wasn't.Comment

I voted Miguel Cotto. He's a much greater risk than Margarito. And that's more of a tribute to Miguel than a knock on Margarito. I can see Floyd pot shotting Margarito to death. He's just far too slow to even connect with anything significant on Floyd.
Cotto is very quick, better jab, better lateral movement, and has more dynamics than Margarito.Comment

I wouldn't say so against Zab Judah. Not even almost but if he was its because he was forced to chase Judah for his KO. Against Mosley he knew he couldn't close the show and he also knew he was ahead so he fought of his back foot and boxed. I'm not saying he wasn't tired at all that obviously had something to do with his inability to get in there and go for a KO or to seal the deal but I've never seen Cotto completely box himself out.Comment
