I think both are walk in the parks...but Margarito will make Floyd work more..because Money cant hurt him and Marg will not stop coming no matter he times Floyd rips him with sharp counters through those wide ass punches.

Hes rooting for Cotto....hes smaller...has less workrate...suspect chin...suspect stamina......Marg is the complete opposite.

Floyd is rooting for Cotto because he KNOWS Cotto is on the verge of getting him some big bucks. Marg............not so much.

Mayweather can beat both of them. Margarito is probably the easier opponent of the two but Cotto brings more money, knowing Mayweather, he'll be rooting for Cotto because of the money involved if they fight.

I think Marg will be more of a challenge for Floyd than Cotto. I do not think Floyd cares who wins or loses. Obviously, public opinion of him does not matter to him.

With Cotto he could KO him before 12....with Marg hell be fighting for 12 rounds.

I had this subject on my mind when I made a thread about these guys a few minutes ago. I say he'd rather fight Cotto than Margarito. Marg is too damn busy and doesn't get hurt even when he does walk right into accurate, clean counter shots. I think he'd have an easier time beatin Cotto than Tony but beatin Cotto wouldn't be easy for him either. Cotto is the better boxer than Tony but Tony's bigger, stronger, tougher, and throws more.

He can already not fight Margarito and retire, I dont think he could retire to everybody's satisfaction and not fight Cotto. I think he can beat cotto, but it would make it easy to just write off cotto if he lost at a point where the momentum is going cotto's way.

I dont know how you can say that, he hasnt fought anybody with high skills in that department. If anything thats exactly how I see Mayweather picking Margarito apart.

Mayqeather will win 12 rounds to zip..but Mayweather will have to work 36 minutes staright..against Cotto..not so much.
