That's the point. Floyd needs legacy fights at 147. Below 147, yeah, he is a great fighter. The only person he has at 147+ is Oscar at 154.

And if it is not about legacy and all about the money...like I said; I'm cool with it. I might not totally agree with it, but that is life and he is free to do that.

However, him bringing up his status as an ATG and his title belts in each division, brings down his ability to fight only for money.

kswizzy99 brought up a good point that Cotto should fight Shane first.

      Cotto doesn't have **** for a legacy at 147.

      **** outta' here with that ****** ****.

Floyd fought the #1 and #2 Welters and the #1 super Welter.

      Oscar at 154 > Cotto

      Oscar at 154 > Margarito

WHO DESERVED A SHOT AT FLOYD MORE?

      Baldomir or Margarito????????????????????????????????????????? ??

Floyd should fight the winner which could setup nicely.

Floyd fights Pac at the end of the year (if he gets by JMM and so can Cotto against Shane (if Cotto gets past Clottey).
yeah and there is no ww king at the moment. mosley and cotto are the top 2 right now so their fight would be for the ring title.

pbf would surely fight the true ww champ. atm its just a bunch of guys holding belts.

Thats the only problem about this fight, Margarito took some shine off this fight and he might have taken something away from Cotto as well.

Thats why a Pacquiao fight is more intriuging at this point for all people involve.

Hopefully Floyd fans read this thread before they go bashing Arum for not wanting to fight Williams or Bradley...

                Bump.

Floyd will find a way to duck Cotto again even at 154lbs and his loyal *****s will find an excuse for him.

                      What's more funny?

That Cotto's fans claim Floyd ducked him when Cotto never called him out or asked for a fight. Whenever asked about Floyd he said "It's up to my promoter Bob Arum". He never showed any interest in a fight with Floyd. But his fans claim Floyd was and still is ducking him.

                      Or....

People acting like Cotto could actually win?
