It's not Cotto's style that could beat Floyd, but Cotto's intelligence

Enough with the Floyd fans claiming that Cotto fans are saying Cotto's style will beat Floyd. I've only read this once or twice. Anyone that has followed Cotto will tell you that Cotto is one of the smartest fighters out there and IF there IS a way Cotto can pull out a victory over Floyd, it wont be because of the style he's known for, but for the intelligence he has shown when something isn't working for him. He has displayed his versatility many times in the past when his pressure offense hasnt worked for him. His most recent example was Mosley. Why do those who claim Cotto is too one dimensional to be effective against Floyd never bring up the Mosley fight?

If you are a Boxing fan, you will understand the message in this post, if you arent a BOXING fan, you will only see this as a "Cotto will beat Floyd" thread because you wont even read it.

On top of being an intelligent fighter, he also has great determination, and focus. He doesnt get discouraged when things arent going his way. He is a very mentally strong fighter.

So smart that he almost gave the Mosley fight away by running in the last rounds.

So smart he was dragged into Ricardo Torres' brawl and almost got stopped in the process.

So smart he risked being disqualified against Zab with low blows.

The very suggestion that Cotto's ring intellegince is ANYWHERE NEAR Floyd Mayweather's is laughable at best.

You can talk **** all you want but the man is undefeated and would give Floyd a run for his life.
