You can't put Calzaghe in the same class as a prime Roy Jones Jr.

That whole fight was a one man demolition. Add Kessler and Hopkins into the equation and Calzaghe presents a very masterful fighter who is 45-0, 32 KOs.

Roids Jones, Jr. would have had major problems dealing with Calzaghe's ambidextrous hand speed. Until the Lacy fight I would never have believed it. But, now it is clear to me that Calzaghe was always the best. I now understand why Jones went to lengths to avoid fighting Joe.

Calzaghe is a great fighter. He is just as great as RJJ was...perhaps even better.

haha at people listing Lacy and Kessler as top names on a resume. They were prospects, nothing more nothing less.

I didn't know Lacy was as good as Roy Jones Jr. in his prime, thanks for that revelation. Oh yeah and for the record they are both to blame for the bout but mostly Calzaghe who even ADMITTED to not wanting to face Roy. Somethings never change, you are STILL a misinformed dolt.

Mikkel Kessler was a LOT more than a prospect. He was an unbeaten multiple champion and a top rate fighter. Oh yeah, he was also better than anyone Roy Jones ever beat at 168 or 175.

Mikkel Kessler got hurt by Joe Calzaghe, thats all i need to know bout him. Hes legit for European standards, but until he does something else, thats all he is. Hes young so he definately has a chance, i guess only time will tell.

Kessler is NOT better than a prime Antonio Tarver.

I'd put Kessler in with Tarver anyday of the week and expect Kessler to win.

It all comes down to your perception of a difference between "European standards" and American. That difference exists no more.

I'd favor Kessler over Tarver, as would most.

Though Tarver's second fight with Roy is the best win any active guy has on his resume
