What do u think was the biggest factor in Bhop losing to Joe?

I have to say that it was his lack of workrate. Im sitting there with a few of my boys watching the fight, and we were all saying that if Hopkins would just let his ****ing hands go, he will hurt, and possibly KO Joe. It was quite evident that he was the much stronger man, and when he hit Joe, he hurt him. Hopkins never appeared to be hurt by ANYTHING that Joe hit him with, therefore i dont know why he was so hesitant to let his hands go. It was quite frustrating to watch.

With that said, Joe beat him on workrate alone. Its not as if he outboxed or hurt Hopkins. He won because he was the busier boxer.

I can't say too old.. because hopkins works the same way against everyone...

Just not enough punches thrown. Workrate easily should come in #1 for this thread.

I think Hopkins lack of punches is what did him in. He's actually got good speed and I think if he got in a flurry exchange with Calzaghe he could have knocked Joe down again, especially with Joe rushing in squared up like he was. I was totally impressed by that shot he caught Joe with that put him down in the first. Dude had me scared for Joe. There is no doubt Hopkins was the stronger man that night but not the busier one and more judges that not are looking to give rounds to that kind of fighter.

Without a shadow of doubt Bhops age cost him the fight .

The fact that the man is old, coupled with the facts that people hate his fighting style and his so called "racist" statements. If this were a fan favorite, everybody would be talking about how he got robbed. The HBO broadcast was rediculous. Along with the bloated compubox numbers, Hopkins lost the fight before they got in the ring. I find it hard to give a fight to someone that throws and doesn't land. Calzaghe threw more but landed about 4 clean punches the whole night. Most of you hate Hopkins, that much is evident.
