Calzaghe did more to win the fight. Hopkins had the knockdown, fair enough he caught joe with a clean hit, but joe bounce right back up. he never looked hurt, although he was more cautious for a few rounds understandably.

Calzaghe threw more punches, he chased the fight and was the aggressor. Hopkins did everything he could to win dirty, although still within the rules. He backed off, traded heads, faked injury or atleast milked it. Yes he was never hurt and he connected the cleaner punches.

Who do you give it to though? the guy who walks away, fights dirty etc. Or the guy chasing the fight and actually giving the poeple somethign to watch.

It wasn't pretty and it wasn't dominant like he claimed it would be, but Calzaghe won that fight by at least four rounds.

Simple facts are these: Calzaghe vastly outlanded Hopkins, Calzaghe was the aggressor and Hopkins tried his ****** tactics again in desperation at a fight he knew he couldn't win legitimately. What surprised me most though, was Hopkins acting like a little ***** when he got tapped on the groin because he pushed Calzaghe's head down. I'm honestly dissapointed in him, because the man is a legend who shouldn't lower himself to that. Hopkins caused more damage with the punches he landed, but he simply didn't land enough and besides the knockdown, he didn't do quite enough damage.

It was always going to be a scrappy fight, and yet despite it, I enjoyed it. If you think Hopkins won, fair enough, but you're ignoring the cold hard facts of the fight which say Calzaghe definately won. No question.

I can overlook anything Hops does right now, cause he's pissed.

Hops is a true living legend who deserves our repect, but let's hope he does retire so we don't lessen that respect due to his endless ****ing complaining. He gave Zaghe a good fight for sure, but he also left it in the hands of the judges.

All he needed to do was throw more and it was his to take, he didn't.

After witnessing both fighter's last 3 bouts, I can say I'd watch Zaghe again but not at all interested in seeing Hops.

I love Hops, but he's just not on his game anymore, it's time to Retire.
