Calzaghe, Hopkins Verbally Collide at Presser

The post-fight press conference to Joe Calzaghe's split-decision win over Bernard Hopkins was full of harsh words from both sides. When Hopkins took the podium to speak with the media at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, he attacked the decision, the CompuBox punch stats that favored Calzaghe by over 200 landed punches and for good measure he threw a few verbal jabs at Calzaghe. I need to watch the presser, not read it. There has gotta be a video of it out there, somewhere, y'all.

Hopkins wanted no part of Calzaghe 6-7 years ago, when he was suppose to sign a contract that would have brought calzaghe over here to fight him.

Calzaghe can't force ppl to fight him

a white guy landed more punches, ill give you that, but who would you rather be? the guy who got hit with a bunch of slaps, or the guy who got put on his ass, was hurt, told he needed a knockout to win, and was cut???

fair enough, where im from if youre more beat up than the guy you fought, you lost, if a judge saying you won makes you feel better, more power to you. History will reflect that a 43 year old Hopkins beat a UK legends ass but lost a decision, im cool with that as well.

When are you going to quit with your Warren propaganda , Bhop said JC was forced to fight in the states to Cals face and Cal said nothing to refute it , Warren did not want to risk JC getting beat as he was milking the UK for every penny he could get , no way did he want JC in with Jones or Hop in the US back then .
