I wouldn't put Peter manfredo on that list.
Jones and Toney were not there for all that long if i'm not mistaken and Hopkins never fought at SMW he went right up to LHW without a thought.

I could see him being #3 after a good win tonight.

With an impressive KO win you can make a good case for it. Of course everyone expects this fight to go the distance, which is why a convincing KO win would be so impressive.

skills wise floyd is the best, skills wise pacman is very limited...

record wise miguel cotto is Number 1 in recent times, he's beaten so many current champs, p4p fighters and good fighters that if anyone deserves to be number 2 it's him... just look at his record!!!

I'm not sure that Floyd deserves to be #1, considering how he ducked Margarito and is now ducking Cotto. At the same time, he probably is the best p4p right now, although if he doesn't fight a real opponent after the Oscar re-match then he's a complete joke.

Pac lost to JMM on my scorecard, so I'd have Calzaghe above him if he wins in impressive style. A KO victory would be a great achievement, but I don't see it happening.

Jones left before Calzaghe got to world title level. Toney left before that, and was a cruiserweight by the time Calzaghe arrived on the scene. Johnson lost 252 fights in a row at SMW. I know that Allan Green is American, but you guys need to learn that being an American doesn't make you a good fighter.

Although Hopkins never fought at 168, maybe you are right about him. There is no way that Calzaghe would ever fight Hopkins.

Edit: I just saw something on TV about Calzaghe and Hopkins having a fight tonight? Probably just a hoax.

                It doesn't seem consistent.
Mayweather gets credit for beating Oscar, but he is getting criticised for fighting him AGAIN. 99% of real boxing fans would rather see Mayweather fight Cotto or Margarito, but instead he has ducked them in order to playfight with a fat wrestler and have a pointless re-match.

Besides, Hopkins is a better fighter than de la Hoya. Aside from having knocked him out, Hopkins also has more notable wins in the last 2 years, and is rated in the p4p lists of most people, unlike DLH.
