can you give me an example where you've seen something that would lead you to believe that Baldomir has a better chin than Margo or where Margo has been hurt by an accumulation of accurate punches? id like to check it out.

He wouldn't have to "try" all that hard if it were possible. By the late rounds, if he simply is taking a **** all over Margarito (which there's a good chance of) then it can happen. Margarito will be tired, desperate, and all ready punched several hundred times flush in the face. He could do something ****** and get hit w/ some good shots to take a seat on the canvas for a second before getting up quickly.

As I've said several times all ready there's not a great chance of it happening, but it could.

Also, I've no idea what 11 KO's you're talking about. Floyd is at 25KO's atm according to boxrec.

If the opportunity arises again (Margarito beats Cotto and calls him out) then he should take it in a heartbeat. No he has 5 losses, no he's too slow, no he lost to Paul Williams. Because the truth will be, he would be the best welterweight out there in that situation, and when and if Floyd beat him he would have proved himself and wouldn't need to shut up. If Floyd avoids the guy who comes out of the welterweight mix and retires, regardless of who it is, it will be a stain on his career and say he doesn't feel as invincible as some boxing fans think he is. agreed?

I was referring to baldomir's KO's and I was mistaken, it was 13 out of 50 something fights.

The Forrest-Baldo fight is a good example recently. A weight above where Baldo is used to and where Forrest hits plenty hard. He was landing flush shots all night long. There was a part where Baldomir stopped paying attention and got nailed with some bombs and was still standing.

And Margarito being hurt from an accumulation of punches... I suppose I'm working under the assumption that he hasn't been replaced by an android or somebody incapable of being knocked out or feeling pain.

Who is better or who wins in a fight? Oscar is always hard to say. When he's on his game he's still up there with some of the best in the world. He usually only looks as good as his opponent lets him.

That being said, I don't think Margarito is any good in a boxing sense. He's gifted w/ a very solid chin, good stamina, and the good fortune of not facing too many legitimate boxers.

What does Baldo's punching power have to do with his chin?
