I'm certain he wouldn't rry, but I don't think he could do it either. Opening up a cut would be his shot at a stoppage.
Punches that are accurate, fast, and crisp compile. He wont knock him out in the first rounds, but there'd be a chance of a knockdown in the late rounds from simply getting hit a lot. Exhaustion and frustration, bam quick combinations, take a seat. Not a high probability, but not so low that it's not worth mentioning.

floyd would beat margarito easily. margarito is too slow to be able to catch floyd. it would be very one sided imo.
i dont think margarito is bad boxer, i think he is very tough, but for someone as slick and fast as mayweather, margarito would never be able to catch him.

I just feel that Floyd is by far the worst matchup out there for Margarito. People should be happy that Floyd doesnt take the fight because if he ever did then he would easily win and then Floyd would never shut up.

Baldomir could be hit w/ a sledge hammer and there's a good chance he'd stay up. He is a freak of nature. Margarito on the other hand, good chin, but no freak of nature.

He was unwilling to attempt it against Baldomir, he pretty much comes equipped with no power (11 KO's in his career at that point) and a sub par workrate. I can't imagine he would risk it against Margarito, I would call it a negligible chance. But if you think there is a chance, you see it another way, that's just opinions, nothing to argue about really.

It's one of those fights where you know Tony won't win on points if it goes the distance. What we do know for certain is that Floyd won't even have enough power to buzz him let alone hurt him. Margarito has the height and reach advantage by far but I still wouldn't advise him to fight from the outside because of his poor handspeed and Floyd's great defense.
Tony has to pump his long jab when walking down Mayweather which will allow him to get inside where he can rough Floyd up and brutalize his body to slow him down. Trying for too many headshots early will mean hitting nothing by air. If he can wear Floyd down with enough body work then later in the fight he can start throwing shots from all angles and hope something huge lands and drops Mayweather. If he can drop Floyd he will most likely be able to finish him off.

It's a longshot but if he applies controlled aggression(not wild aggression) anything is possible. This is boxing and one punch can definitely change the outcome of any fight. Oh, and if Floyd breaks his fragile hands on Tony's hard head that would certainly help as it is a realistic scenario given his history of hand injuries.

mayweather is the best right now, but he does not have power at this weight and mayweather isnt even a hammer

Floyd isn't that sledgehammer you talk about, and even if he was, he wouldn't be willing to try. that's my point.
