Cal is feather-fisted, and B-Hop is hard to hit and has never been KO'd in his career and has faced better competition than Cal.

Smart money is on Hop to pull out a decision. If you're not putting some money on Hop to win, you're an idiot. No way should Hop be a 2.5 to 1 dog in this fight, no way.

Then I guess 70% of the public are idiots. Most people are not backing Bernard in this fight.

Remember that Calzaghe has not been KO'd, defeated, or even looked to be in any real danger in any of his fights. Hopkins lost 4 times. Hopkins almost got knocked through the ropes by Mercado (knocked down twice in one fight), and he hasn't seen anything like Calzaghe since 1993 when he faced Jones Jr.

        I doubt it.

Even if Hops did get hurt and I personally don't think it will happen, doesn't Cortez know Hopkins?

Not saying he'll let him take a beating but because Hops has never been stopped that plays into it. If you know what I'm saying. Also he is the home fighter and the champ (ring) so he'll get a lot of slack.

Factor in the American view of joe's quick stoppage wins. He ain't stopping Nard unless he plants him on his back.

Calzaghe has the better chance of being stopped than Hopkins. Hopkins has only been down once and that was earlier in his career against a tough fighter name Segundo Mercado. Has has never really been out on his feet either and never in any danger of being stopped. Calzaghe can be stopped from body punches and too many right hand counters. I think people are underestimating Hopkins in this match up. He is serious threat and Calzaghe is fighting at a weight that he has never fought at before. Hopkins is too ring smart and experienced to be stopped by Calzaghe, he knows how survive. The fighter with the best chance at stopping Hopkins is my opinion would be Chad Dawson. A boxer puncher that is a ring technition with serious power.

Holy crap, I forgot Cortez is reffing this fight.

All my remaining points on Hopkins to win.

Calzaghe has also never faced a fighter like Bernard, never fought in Vegas before, etc. I'm not saying Cal CAN'T win, I'm saying it's really good odds if you wanna lay some money on B-hop, which is what I'm doing. It's a very, very good bet.

Uh, didn't you pick Chad Dawson to shutout Glen Johnson?

How many times has Calzaghe been stopped by body punches?

Doesn't Hopkins have ONE stoppage in his last EIGHT fights?

I have never seen Calzaghe hurt to the body ever..........

Joe has only ever been hurt by Byron Mitchell and if you watch that punch it is pretty much a perfect KO punch and Joe got up after 2 seconds.

The Salem one wasn't ****. Joe was so disinterested in that fight he could have lost. It's fights like that that mean't Joe had to wait for these kind of fights.

Correction. Hopkins was down twice against Mercado. As I said earlier, he was almost knocked through the ropes. Hopkins himself said he's been down 3 times. I'm not sure who the other one was.

Calzaghe has been down twice, and he KO'd Mitchell about 1 minute later (second round).

When has Calzaghe been stopped with body punches? Never. That's not true bro.

Calzaghe is 196 pounds between fights. Trust me, he is HAPPY to be at 175 because making 168 has been hell. Starvation diets are not good, they zap your strength. With the extra poundage, and the fact that he hasn't had to punish his body so hard, you'll see a better fighter in Calzaghe.

                      A Calzaghe DQ?

Enzo jumping in the ring to get at Cortez. lol.

This is more likely than a Calzaghe knockout.

Sorry but no way Enzo can take Hattonesque reffing, he is a ticking time bomb.
