In all honesty, I don't know why Cotto should have to call out Mayweather to get a fight. Cotto's is his biggest challenge, and he knows it. If they don't fight, it's because Floyd chose not to. I have no problem with Cotto telling Mayweather to **** off. Let him continue his career and maybe Mayweather will come around. If they don't fight, then Floyd obviously ducked him, no excuses, but I think, and hope, they will.

What does cotto need him for? Money? he just said his stock has gone up and i dont think Cotto vews money the way floyd does. fame? I think at the end of his run cotto will be considered greater than tito in the eyes of Puerto Rice and that probably means more to cotto than his status in the states.

he needs to stop saying this **** in interviews and start saying it on camera if he's serious. other than that, continue, move up, fight mayorga for PPV exposure, then take out Forrest.

A healthy Vernon Forrest will beat Cotto and probably anyone else in the welterweights. He had 2 terrible fights with Mayorga and I'd be willing to bet that now that he's healthy he'd beat him easily. He would even give Floyd fits if not beat him.

Because thats how fight are been made, I dont think anyone with the right mind should expect PBF to be calling out anyone at this stage of his career.

You can wish Mayweather away all you want. The fact is, pound for pound best fighter is based on talent and abilty and no one in boxing has more. Any expert will tell that Floyd is the most talented fighter in all of boxing. Cotto doesn't have a name and I would agree with anyone on here that Cotto should be the next fight. What you're doing is just like a little kid blinking his eyes real fast and saying 'I made you disappear'. Floyd is the man until he gets beat. Period.
