Since last weekend's fights it's clear Cotto don't have to wait for Floyd. The winner of his fight with Tony is the man to beat at 147 and Floyd will need to fight them to re-establish himself as the champ after the DLH rematch.

Fight will happen in the next 3 years.. so "statement" won't be true at all.

I'm really trying to understand how you think that with cotto's obvious lack in speed contention and ring generalship/footwork, he will be able to beat floyd.

He will need that one punch. and I'm sorry but Oscar had a better chance than Cotto.

Cotto's power is great. but if he gets past magarito it still won't be enough to beat floyd.

You can't beat floyd with power alone. Cotto will not cut the ring off on floyd.

good works for cotto if mayweather its a certified ***** why even bother calling him out
when cotto or margarito unifies the division mayweather will retire in disgrace or will come begging for the winner to give him a fight

Go look at his interview on ESPN he said EXACTLY what Cotto should do. TALK TO HIM, if you aren't TALKING TO HIM how are you going to get his attention.

Hatton: You saw more action in that one round than in Floyds whole career.

Cotto: When Floyd Mayweather has the courage to fight me, I will fight him

Which statement is more damaging and could be considered, "running of the mouth".

Floyd DOESN'T WANT TO FIGHT WITH REAL FIGHTERS...

            End of story...

Which statement was said on national TV and televised in Hatton's home country?

Which statement did more people see and hear?

I agree with you that Cotto taking a shot at PBF about his courage is more degrading than what Hatton said. But Hatton's statement reached more people than Cotto's did.

Your right. Just like he couldnt cut off the ring with Zab Judah and Sugar Shane. (Sarcazm) Cotto has a way to pull out a fight no matter who he is fighting. And, I will go out on a limb and say that he would probably KO Mayweather. I am not sure that "Money" could withstand Cotto punishment for 12 rounds after seeing the fight last weekend. I would lay money on Miguel.

Cotto's statement will go no further than internet message boards.

I answered a question that another poster had asked. Read whats going on before you quote my ****. To be honest the last few statements Cotto has been making I respect. I don't know whats next do you?

It's funny how you left this out "I agree with you that Cotto taking a shot at PBF about his courage is more degrading than what Hatton said."
