I think hatton has a better chance at 140. even tho you say mayweather might be better at 140, although i question that cos i dont think he'll be as strong. he's settlin into higher weight divisions.

hattons a lot better at 140 cos he's faster and has to train so hard to make that weight when he reaches it and peaks he's so fit

At whatever weight class, Floyd will win. Fighting again, whether at 140 or 147 is a waste of time and WILL NOT be interesting, at all.

If Floyd takes this rematch and does not fight Cotto first, I am so done. This is ridiculous and I am utterly tired of hearing Ricky ***** and moan about a rematch when he CLEARLY lost.

        This is such bs.

dont understand why people dont want this, floyd will either fight this fight or none at all, it will have no effect on whether he chooses to fight cotto so why not? also, regardless of what the most biased hatton hater says there is no denying that if mayweather could pick his dream ref and ricky his nightmare ref it would be cortez that night, so a ref who will let ricky fight his way would make for a good fight. the weight helps ricky too, and home advantage cant hurt. hatton would still be a big underdog but he has a chance whatever peopel say

at this point in floyd's career, moving down in weight wouldn't be advisable.

Sweetie, Ricky does not have options. He lost the first fight. Mayweather has already stated if he were to fight him again, everything would go his (Mayweather's) way.

Oh, we need to wake up and realize Hatton got TKO. That was not because of Cortez. It was because he was caught. Plain and simple.

I like Hatton but let's be real. They both did their share of dirty fighting but at the end of the night, the fight did not make it to the cards. Hatton LOST!

As for home advantage, I'm sorry but HOW MANY FANS DID YOU COUNT FOR FLOYD??? I mean, Hatton had a lot of fans here. A LOT!

Floyd's resume at 140 is probably the worst resume of an elite fighter at a specific weight class. DeMarcus Corley is his highlight win at that weight.
Gatti and Corley were champions and at the time Corley had 2 SD losses, the ignorance is strong in this one.

I agree although I believe he could do it. I so doubt Mayweather will agree to 140. That's laughable, really.

Did Gatti ever beat anyone worth talking about? Did he ever even make it a close fight against an elite? Corley lost an SD against Judah, which is a HELL of a lot more than Gatti ever did.

Also, Corley never did actually beat an elite fighter, so it's not like you should be proud to have him as your highlight win.

Are you really defending Floyd's resume at 140? It is literally the worst in boxing. Period.
Did you really think saying that made your statement fact? You sound like you just started watching boxing with the bull**** you spew. It's not even CLOSE, some fighters on the elite level haven't even FACED former champions at a weight class, Floyd faced them as tuneups to bigger bouts.
