Miguel Cotto vs. Antonio Margarito

In my opinion cotto will either stop Margarito or win a UD. I do realize that Margarito is a Hard Puncher with a great chin,but thats it. He is a Coming foward throwing punches maching, he does not posses Cottos hand speed, or smooth movement nor the smartness.he probably will give Cotto problems in the early rounds but after Cotto gets use to the range and Margaritos power that will be it. Margarito will get outbox, for most of the night. Probably he will win a round or 2 based on aggresiveness but that will be it! Cotto will outclass Margarito

people thinking that cotto will be able to outbox him all night are ******ed. Wasn't cotto's biggest thing about him is that he's a great pressure fighter with great inside game. Now he gots a decent jab and he's this superior defensive wiz and great boxer lmao. So cotto is going to go away from what made him what he is (pressure, body work) to try to jab all night and win on points??? Both of these guys come foward. and in order for cotto to land his trademark blows(body shots) guess what he has to come inside, and when he comes inside he's stepping inside tony's world. No matter what cotto does whether run with the jab or fight margarito is going to come foward and press the action and hit you. Margarito gives you no choice but to fight back. The only way I see Cotto winning the fight is with a sustained brutal body attack, with lots of elusive movement. We all know Margarito is all HOMBRE, and has a tremendous chin, never been KO'd. Seen him get wobbled a few times, but never seriously hurt and kept his composure enough to fight back with serious offense. Cotto is a tough kid though, has major heart and balls. Lacking a little in the chin department, but Margarito has not been consistent with "One Punch Power". I see it this way. If Cotto stands in front of Tony, mano a mano puch for punch, he loses, gets wore out and Knocked Out. If he uses movement, effective countering and a smart body attack, he wins rather easily; this is more or less his style anyway. Margarito will have to turn up the heat on him early and force him to fight. If Tony can cut off the ring, and force a tremendous pace from the get go, we'll see if Miguel can hang in a Man's fight.

Cotto's shots are too compact and Margarito's too looping. Tony is going to get buzzed but not seriously hurt. But this fight will end on a cuts loss for Margarito.

Just how I see it. Rather see a Margarito KO over Cotto. But then no Cotto/PBF. Oh well.

But, i see a UD in favour of Cotto. I'm not that bothered who wins this one, as long as the winner faces Mayweather. These guys is all that is left to even be considered a modern great, never mind an all-timer.

People see it as if Cotto gets caught hes going down. Lol... Ya people make me laugh. Im pretty sure Cotto was the speed to catch Tony and counter him lovely, but ya deluded people don't seem to think that.

Tony throws wide shots, and if he misses, Cotto will make him pay. This fight can be the only boxing match if Cotto wants to make it. Call it running or whatever, but Cotto would do what Floyd did with Baldimor.

Cotto has a great jab and its still improving, a jab can stop anyone in thier tracks!

Remember this is boxing anything can happen. Ya are just fans. Leave the fighting to the fighters, unless you're gonna come up with some legit predictions and visualize the fight as if they were really fighting. Cotto's chin seems to cloud everyones outcome on this board that its so funny, and it comes from the same exact loser posters who just want to see a fighter lose.
