    Were did i say Calzaghe would care about Clinton's loss? I never once mentioned the word English so what the deuce are you talking about? And Wales is apart of Great Britain so i'll support anyone who comes from these isles..

      What are you talking about you dumbass. Clinton Woods is relatively poor fighter. Everyone knew he was going to get beat last night. He doesnt throw snappy punches, hes more concerned about not getting Ko'd. He is one boring boring fighter. To judge the British by the measure of Woods is a joke mate. Calzaghe is in a different league my friend. And he is gonna whooooop ol Bernard!!!!!!!!!

        I hagve to say I'm having doubts about Calzaghe; STepping up a weight (hatton can't do it.) , first fight in America?, Quality oppoisition (Hatton could / couldn't against number 1.)

        I'm definitely staying up for this one though, and his sparring partner problems.

          Oh and who cares about Calzaghe, if he wins he's British, if he loses he is Welsh.

          England = Win WIn situation.

          :-)

            I thought Woods would give Tarver a decent challenge but he wasn't ****. Even if he loses Joe C will do better than that against Hopkins though.

              I think we are being a little hard on Woods, he did the best he could with a limited amount of talent. How much of Woods performance was down to him and how much was down to him being outboxed will only really be revealed when Tarver turns up for his next fight.

              I think those who make the mistake of trying to draw a comparison between Ricky/ Woods and Calzaghe are barking up the wrong tree, Woods and Ricky have big hearts but Joe is an infinitely better boxer than either of them.

                  That was the best Woods could do man,just accept these guys aint good enough apart from Witter and Haye.

                    I'm American but.. at his own weight class? Haye is the real deal. That's why he's moving up to face the dinosaurs. Also? Macca is not nearly as good as Witter. I'm going to assume you created this list based on a combination of your favorite fighters/ most popular fighters/ most Tv Time. As far as the topic is concerned Tarver beating Woods is not comprable with Witter beating Tim Bradley. If you don't know that then there's no helping you.
                    No it was a reference to the regard in which Woods is held. not my "favourites" list. I like Ricky Hatton and I like David Haye, but I also think Calzaghe is fun to watch (though I wouldn't call myself a "fan"). The other guys I wouldn't give them the steam off my piss.

                    Fact is that Woods going to the US to fight Tarver was utterly unheralded before the fight and it is only now he has lost that some silly yanks have decided to trumpet his defeat to prove some sort of nonexistant point.
