Not a fair comparison. Both are among the best boxers (in their weight classes) of all time, but RJJ moving to heavyweight to face a prime Tyson is suicide, and Tyson draining himself to 168-175 pounds is fantasy.

They are both great, I'll leave it at that.

douglas did beat a prime mike tyson.

he was in physical prime when he fought douglas. his corner was garbage but he was in his prime. he just got outfought by a determined less physically gifted and less skilled guy who couldn't be denied that night.

he didn't lose his prime 'til after he spent time in prison.

Tyson was fast...for a heavyweight. His speed is nothing Roy couldn't avoid in his prime. I think people forget just how good Roy's defense was in his prime. Roy was never knocked down in his prime (aside from Del Valle) and only given trouble by tall southpaws. Tyson would be easy to hit for Roy, as well as easier to avoid than many of Roy's opponents. Another factor is that Tyson would get tired at some point...prime Roy never gets tried.
