let me ask you a couple of questions about that.

    1. do you REALLY follow boxing?
    2. do you know how many times cotto fights a year?
    3. do you know WHY cotto is fighting Gomez?
    4. do you know WHO cotto is fighting AFTER Gomez?

if you know the answers to these questions, you wouldnt even bring up Gomez.

Had Mayweather done enough already to earn his fight with Oscar?

Well 2501, I'll give you my spill on Antonio. After the HUGE talk about how he was the "MOST FEARED GUY IN BOXING", I thought he was the second coming of Mike Tyson in a smaller body. I thought that they he was knocking guys cold. The talk heated up about him so much and I didn't know much about him made me feel like I was outta the loop on boxing. After researching the guy and watching him fight. I didn't see anything that swayed me to believe that he was what Arum and a large portion of the boxing community considered him to be. He is a big, strong welterweight. But after seeing him destroy Cintron back on ESPN PPV, I was looking for that kind of performance CONSISTENTLY. After he fought Clottey, who I thought should have won, then losing to Paul Williams in a close fight...the whole "MOST FEARED GUY IN BOXING" quickly diminished as far as I was concerned.

I think he is a threat to Cintron, seeing as how he KNOCKED HIM OUT THE LAST FIGHT. But I don't see him as a "threat" to Miguel, or Floyd. Maybe Quintana???

mythical? You do understand this term right? Hercules was mythical. Odysseus was mythical. GTFO! The term implies fiction, lacking factual basis. You meant legendary, which, of course, PBF is not.

PBF isn't even considered by many on the level of many ATG's, many of whom are truly legendary, because of his penchant for picking opponents.

                Your fanboyism is disgusting.

yea. Mythical. that is what Pound 4 Pound ratings are! Meaning fictional, NOT REAL. If they are REAL, I sure didn't know. If they are so real...y doesn't ever list look the same way???

How can you rate a featherweight and a middleweight as to who is better???....I stop reading after this, "You meant legendary, which, of course, PBF is not."
