why would he do that if he's been successful with Top Rank? THAT doesnt make any business sense. Floyd just doesnt want to fight Cotto for whatever reason. The Boxing world is catching on and Floyd is losing credibility with every move he makes.

Ok, I knew that, I was just looking for dee's response, but good response and I respect that. Even if that did happen, DOES THAT MEAN THAT HE ISNT THE BEST BOXER IN THE SPORT? I mean, we all know the answer to that question. But what I am saying, pfp is mythical. However, I understand that Floyd honors that label that he has. I'm sure that he would defend himself on that stance if he was taken down a notch to Pac-Man or Joe C. I'm not too big on it, HONESTLY.

I say that because I am an athlete. I understand competition. I play football and every year they had guys who were ranked higher than me, but when it came down to it, I out played them all....that's my stance, I know its a different sport, but I hope u feel me

Whether Cotto becomes #1pfp or not, is not of my concern. Unlike you, i am only intersted in good competitive matchups where the best take on the best. You are only concerned with what is beneficial to Floyd.

So once he does fight Cotto AND win, where does his credibility go from there?

Neither do I, Miguel. Mayweather is a coward...

You are right when you say in order to maintain that spot. So once he fights Cotto, where will you stand in reference to him and the #1 spot?...where would Cotto land or where does he stand?

He gets MUCH more credit for fighting and beating Cotto than he would for rematching Oscar and Hatton. If u dont think so, then u should stop watching boxing.
