"Cotto ready for Gomez but has 'Money' on his mind"

    Yes another Cotto article.

"I'm only going by credentials," Mayweather said. "Now I pick and chose who I want to fight. He [Cotto] is with Bob Arum; he has a boss. Once he goes out and becomes an entrepreneur and makes it worth my while, we can talk."

LOL, and Floyd and his cult have the nerve to say that this fight needs more building. Everywhere u turn, every single website, every fan, every boxing commentator and writer is asking the million dollar question. When is Floyd going to fight Cotto. Its the biggest fight that could be made in boxing right now.

you are right. It is by FAR the biggest fight in boxing right now. I want to see the fight, but MORESO i want to see it to hush the mouths of guys like yourself who talk as if Floyd IS running scared from Miguel Cotto.

However, Floyd has said that HE isn't going to fight him RIGHT now, HE said that HE is going to do it on HIS terms (like he said on ESPN, and the article that ant posted). What more can the fans and haters do? We get the point dee...we get it. Floyd needs to fight Cotto. Ok. That is plain. However, daily threads and posts isn't going to make the fight happen sooner is it?

If Floyd rematches both Oscar and Hatton, and wins both fights, would u still have him pfp#1?

good question. I am not one to get 2 big on the pfp. It is all mythcial. I will say that he is the BEST fighter in the sport period. Him fighting those two guys and winning wouldn't take away from the fact that he is the best.

On the flip, how could a person lose the #1 spot without losing?

when another fighter is facing and beating harder and tougher opposition, but u have pac who faced jmm and won close decision that aint good enough to pass pbf, calzaghe if he beats hops still not good enough to eclipse pbf number 1 spot.

If Cotto really wants Mayweather then he will buy himself out of his Top Rank contract like Floyd did. Actions speak louder then words.

The real question is: How could a person maintain their #1 spot, without facing the best in the sport? U cant sit on your past wins without taking on the newest challenges, and then claim to be #1. What world do u live in?
