I would never blame the referee one bit, He did a great job in letting the fight flow, Your trainer his suppose to assess your performance and condition while you're fighting in the ring, Lacy's corner should have pulled him out after the 7th round like they did Gatti against Mayweather, or Chavez/PBF..Corrales/PBF etc but they didnt and i think the fact that they were waiting for one big punch to land was one of the factor in them not pulling lacy out of there.

On the subject of Lacy, I just got back from a holiday in the States and can confirm that Lacy has just been awarded the coveted fourth star by his local MacDonald's head office. This has been achieved despite the regular and heavy soiling of his underwear and frequent epileptic fits that have occured ever since Calzaghe retired him on that fateful evening.

He was doing well in the Tsypko fight till the injury I think that had more of an impact on his last perforamce its difficult to tell if he is shot he has only had one come back fight since getting injured.

He was a good fighter before the beating but im hearing now he's getting flashbacks while he's sparring.

That what makes this so sad. Everyone could see that Lacy didn't even have a puncher chance, but they let the beating continue.

.....I have said it before and I know more than a few of you have already heard it, but this fight literaly made my son hate boxing. He was becoming a big fan and I watched this one with my son and some of my boys. We were all rooting for Lacy and I was calling for the stoppage for sure.
