    If B-Hop even gets CLOSE...:

(IMO) If B-Hop even gets close to beating Calzaghe, say a split decision or a nonsense UD for Calzaghe.. Then one would have to assume that had this fight had happened years ago when it should have happened, that B-Hop would have beaten Calzaghe. So, what I'm saying is in order for Calzaghe to really get credit for this victory he better beat him convincingly.. ie not a bunch of close rounds that could have gone either way. If B-Hop manages to make it close, then a few years ago when he was not an old man he most likely would have won the fight. For the record, I expect Calzaghe to win this fight.. Any thoughts on this?

          I agree,........

I already picked Hopkins to school Calzaghe badly.......

If Calzaghe is as elite as they say he is...he should not lose to a 43 year old fighter...simple.

          If he does....hes a joke...

Can you picture Floyd Mayweather losing to a 43 year old fighter...or what about Pacman???

........digest your thoughts.......and expect Calzaghe to venture back to Wales a defeated man.

I still have Cal to win but if he doesn't win by a solid margin, then IMO the victory does little for his legacy. Also, if Hop steps into the ring and shows his age like never before I give Cal minimal credit. All and all I just hope the fight is entertaining.

I have no idea how this response relates to anything I wrote.. But Kudos, action smileys always seem to impress people around here.

What would count as a solid margin to you?
