Mayweather can turn defense into instant offense while ivan is a hit and run fighter so I say it's gotta be moneyman mayweather.

Definitely Calderon. He doesn't have any pop to keep you away but he still manages to avoid getting tagged severly for 36 minutes, it's actually pretty amazing.

All his pop is in his feet. Because He's a Runner not a Boxer.

Anyone that voted Mayweather honestly needs to be shot in the face. Mayweather is a counterpuncher, not a pure boxer.

Cazares was outweighing Calderon by what? 15 pounds on jr. flyweights?
like 5“ taller? reach I dont know.

That is definitely “moving up”. Calderon wasnt big for 105.

Andre Dirrell is a runner. Calderon is a mover against MUCH bigger guys. BIG difference.

To the original question... What do we mean by pure boxer, someone who moves a lot and throws a lot of straight punches, sets up power shots behind the jab nad so on? Or someone whose success relies on something he learned (skills) as opposed to something he was born with (power, speed, chin...)?
