I don't think many general sports journalists ask Floyd about Cotto. I've seen interviews where Cotto wasn't even mentioned. I haven't seen him do an interview recently where he wasn't called the best fighter.

But whatever. Why do you insist on getting yourself riled up over the fight happening next year as opposed to this? Did you really think there wasn't going to be a Mayweather-DLH 2?

My opinion: most Cotto fans lack the mental dexterity to understand that the business end of boxing is keeping this fight from happening and there's NOTHING fans like us can do to change that. So, why get worked up about it?

Most Cotto fans are too dense to understand that Mayweather fans aren't making excuses and would love to see Cotto fans eat crow the moment Mayweather pulls it out, but what are we going to do? The demand is high enough right now where the fight should happen, but its going to be much bigger next year. What are we going to do? Does crying about it change that? No. So, why get worked up about it?
