First of all, if you don't want to offend anyone, you should know better than to write a post like that, so don't even try to act as though if you're not biased in any way. Second, what does it matter that you're daddy was Mexican? You say that because he experienced racism, he is unable to spread it, well, all the racism he got was from white Americans, and many Mexicans HATE PRicans.
Also, that voodoo/magic **** is PURE GARBAGE. Puerto Rico was colonized by the U.S. and 95% of our residents are centrist/conservative and want to be a part of the U.S. I say this because the U.S. is mainly Christian, and so is PR. People here are extremely passionate about their religion (and very bigoted as well), which means that a person with any other belief that is not in the Christian tradition would be incredibly marginalized in this society. For your racist daddy to teach you that we do that black magic **** is absolutely ridiculous and demeaning, because he intended to harbor hate in your young and easily brainwashed mind.
Another fact that has not been pointed out is that as a U.S. territory, boxing came to us via the Americans. The soldiers who invaded this country used it to train and keep themselves in shape, same as basketball. Thus, that argument that we have a tradition of fighting dirty just because that's the way we do it over here is pure bull****, and since what we know about boxing we learned from Americans, they should be accountable for that.
If this country is violent in any way it has been due to American influence. Before Columbus, peaceful indians inhabited this island. Since the Americans got here, crime rates have only soared. Same as with black people in the U.S., the African ****** were a peaceful people, and due to how blacks have been marginalized for centuries, black Americans have very high rates of violent crime.
