Just Finished watching the UFC on spike and the audience was 98 percent white many were frat boys and hot white girls.

how can Boxing tap into this market its obviously very lucrative...any thoughts?

UFC is a fad.

Boxing is on TV almost every night of the week. It is popular worldwide, especially in Britain, Gemrany, Phillipines, Thailand, Japan, and Mexico.

To answer the question, I guess boxing would need a great American fighter who is marketed well. Another De La Hoya so to speak, but better yet another Tyson, especially with the HW division. The right fights need to be made as well. I guess Mayweather is doing his thing, but he often gets criticised. I really don't care though. I love the sport, and I don't care what race the fans or the fighters are. If someone wants to watch something else, then go for it. Boxing isn't dead. It's on the rise, and I'm glad that I'm here to watch all these great fights.

Since i cant go and quote everyone and respond to many different posts i will respond to the one about someone saying my grandmother must have messed around...

i didnt mean my dad looks like Felix Trinidad in terms of, "you could mistake my dad for felix trinidad's cousin"...

im talking skin color here...not facial features or type of hair; etc.

as i said earlier my family originates from sicily and you all should know that commonly northern italians (think genova, milano, torino, etc.) are white. However southern italians (think palmero; sicily) are commonly dark.

and for the record: EUROPE IS A CONTINENT NOT A RACE!

so all europeans arent white...

italians dont have the same features as say, kelly pavlik.

we're darker (where my family is from). our facial features are different, we have naturally darker hair, broad shoulders, full lips, etc.

if you can only be white, black, native american, asian, hispanic, then okay...im white...

but there is much more to race than just these 5 broad terms.

i mean seriously...what would happen if you called an indian (as in from india) an asian...yes they are mixed with asians but they arent asain.
