Just Finished watching the UFC on spike and the audience was 98 percent white many were frat boys and hot white girls.

how can Boxing tap into this market its obviously very lucrative...any thoughts?

what are you on the other side? if you are of british decent or german decent (or something similar) then i can see why that is said about you.

My dad (for example) is dark...real dark for an italian...he's about as dark as felix trinidad (maybe a shade or two lighter at the most)...he doesnt get mistaken as a white guy (unless he has his beard going in the winter time)...

I (usually in the summer months) get mistaken for a hispanic of some type (i dont get REALLY light in the winter but there is a noticable difference).

my family isnt white as paper...infact our family history orginates in sicily (where the darker italians are from historically).

with that logic indians (as in from india) are arabians? or middle eastern?

truth is you cant take people (who histocially have light skin) from all different countries (there are a lot of those countries) and say, "all these people from all these (some) COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PLACES are white people"...

thats like saying there is no different between nicaraguans, mexicans, puerto ricans, brazilians, columbians, etc. they are all just one in the same...

japanese, filipinos, chineese, thai, etc. there is no difference, they are all one in the same.



currently i cant think of a better italian boxer to tell you the truth.

i think italians arent italians. i believe they are italian.

there is more to race than white, black, mexican, chineese.

Uh duh...Indians and middle eastern people are two different ethnicities. If anything a lot of middle eastern people, like hispanics, are of african descent or come some type of mixed background. What is wrong with people always associating indians with middle easterns??

calling an italian a white person would be like calling a puerto rican a mexican or calling a dark person from the Dominican Republic (ie. David "papi" ortiz of the red sox) a black person.

italians are mixted with some swiss (northern parts) and with those from spain (southern parts) but to flat out call them white is wrong...

But Wlad is not AMERICAN, americans support their own, so while Wlad may be white hes not American and isnt going to gain too much interest over here. I mean look at David Beckham, one of the biggest stars in the world, came over here, made news for like two days and the fad wore off...

I agree. American fans generally don't take a great liking to athletes from foreign countries. That is even more true when it comes to those who are from what used to be the Soviet Union. People from my generation were taught to distrust and dislike them. I've gotten over that, but I believe that millions of others still haven't.
