They're Brazilians of Italian descent. Just like model Gisele Bundchen is a Brazilian of german descent. Hispanic/Latino is not a race and Brazilians are of all races.

Once again David Ortiz is black just like Edison Miranda is black there's no doubt about that. Anyway mulattoes make up the majority of the Dominican population I know that. But the thing is many of them are considered mulattos (half black,) even if they have two black parents basically because they have a mixed background from way back in their family tree. Someone like Beyonce would be considered mulatta if she was Dominican basically because she isn't 100% black. A lot of black americans would be considered mulattoes, pardo..etc if they were Latinos. BTW...why are we talking about this in his thread?
