What bothers me, is the fact that Mosley ****ed up in the 11th round.
Those two monster bodyshots clearly had Cotto near the point of vomit.
He was leaning so far forward to avoid more bodyshots, that all Mosley
had to do was step back and uppercut like a mammapuler!

Guess he was too tired himself to think clearly.
Mosley's most effective work was to the body. Shame he didn't listen to his corner...

I would love for one of the people who voted that he was moments from getting KTFO, to show me a vid clip, or explain where exactly did he seem to be at that moment.

One thing i notice is how Flat Footed Shane Fought against Cotto...
If Shane ever Fought Mayweather I think it would be a Wide UD....
Shane isnt a boxer nomore, He has turn into a brawler...

Cotto did the smart thing in the last 2 rounds By boxing his way to victory..
Cotto showed to me in that fight that he isnt all that one Dimensional..

I can say alot things about Cotto, but one thing i cant say is that he hasnt improved...

Now he just Need to Test Himself against Young Prime Elite Fighters...
Cotto needs to dare to be great...

Even while he was boxing and Mosley was coming after him, he still engaged and landed some beautiful counter shots. He didn't run. When Mosley got there, Cotto fought back and countered back. Adjustments are made all the time, and Cotto made the adjustment. He was able to outbox Mosley down the stretch. We are so used to Cotto being a nonstop pressure fighter, and he is a pressure fighter, but he can do more than that, and that's a good thing for him and not a good thing for his opponents. Bottom line, he won the fight, and that's that.
Good post indeed. Those who think Cotto only knows how to come forward should watch the Abdulaev fight

i think he even said this in a way in the post fight interview
let me get this right, by moving away from danger BUT exchanging at the same time, initiating and still punching is fighting like a coward? so this would also constitute as fighting like a coward?

I think Cotto did a Good Job Neutralizing Mosleys Offense But hes a very smart fighter everytime he gets hits hard he seems to make it through and backpedals, Although ive seen the incident where the ref cleans up the puddle of water in the ring i saw Mosley not following through you cant really blame Miguel for that and well I think boxing fans wondered or left a sour taste in their mouths from being cautious on the late rounds

I think he was stunned in the 9th but recovered fine and chose to box Shane rather than take the fight to him because he felt it was the safest way to victory. He boxed well, but it was risky to switch it up like that, and like i said, unexpected.
Much agreed. ^ We've been focusing on Miguel, but this made me think about how Shane looked.. HaHA.. Shane was looking desperate even in those late rounds. I think Cotto's confidence and reserve under pressure was huge.
