Mosley: "Cotto Barely Finished The Fight"

Shane has found his mouth recently, hasn't he?

During promotion for his fight with Judah, Shane has said on multiple occasions that Top Rank and Miguel Cotto are avoiding him. Is that true?

The way I remember it Shane had nothing to say for months after the Cotto fight. In fact the first and only person to talk about the rematch was Miguel Cotto himself. Miguel said he was interested in the rematch. Shane was nowhere to be found.

So now, about half a year later, after Cotto already committed to the Gomez fight, Shane is trying to claim that Miguel is hiding from him.

    That's a crock of ****.

Cotto won the fight. Why didn't Mosley say something earlier then. I respect Shane a lot, but I think it's a little ridiculous.

Why does Shane always look like he just woke up now?

you should have a 3rd option:

"he took the cowards way out, despite having the reputation as the 'ultimate pressure fighter' and coasted because he believed he was ahead in points"

i think he even said this in a way in the post fight interview

Shane is just trying to get publicity on a bad fight, He knows noone is gonna order this because it serves no purpose

so it's cowardice when cotto does it,but when floyd does it it's ring generalship?

That's a fair point. ^ But regardless of whether it was cowardly or intelligent it must have been required. As I've said on multiple occasions Cotto is a fine actor. He can't show his opponent or the judges if he's hurt.

His chin isn't better at 147 if only somewhat, slightly - so straightening himself up and dancing away or throwing a few hard shots to give himself room is just as much of a fighting tactic as feinting or clutching.

floyds style is to dance around the ring, ever since day 1. i dont recall him blatently running away in the later rounds because he thought he had the fight in the bag

On a somewhat side note to what someone said about Shane trying to hype this fight with Zab: If you ask me, once it gets closer, it won't need hype. This fight will be REAL good, you watch. I just have a feeling that this will be a very entertaining fight, because basically, whoever loses, is ****ED. Shane loses, he probably retires straight up. If Zab loses, he goes back on ESPN, or back to 140.
