I completely agree and I think Whitaker would elude a great deal of it.

They say Pryor was potentially the greatest jr. welter ever.

Henry Armstrong would have outworked him.

Pryor by far. He was a wrecking machine in the ring. The harder you fought, the more it just pissed him off. Don't ever make a mistake and knock him down, or you would get KO'd soon after.

The Hawk would make most in that list piss their pants.

          Well.

Then Whitaker would avoid the non stop punching while Pryor tries to corner him the entire fight..........the crowd booing......Whitaker throwing 1 punch every twenty or thirty seconds while making Pryor miss.

The judges aren't going to score that scenario for Pea.

            Pryor IMO.

That man was a combination of McCullough and Marciano

Well then they don't know what they're watching.

In all the years I've watched whitaker (his prime years) through the robberies and all, I've struggled to give his opponents even a single round.

When he lost to Ramirez i gave Ramirez 1 round.

              JCC?...2 rounds maybe?

              Whitaker pitched shutouts.

Then you're obviously going to score for the fighter who lands at a higher percentage despite throwing and landing less punches.

Using the flashy style accompanied by more than just sound defenses.

                That's ok. *Moves on*

Well I think sometimes people put too much emphasis on "effective aggressivenss". Who in history showed what effective defensiveness can do?

Did'nt willy pep once win a round without throwing a punch? You could even point to Mayweather.

If you are'nt getting hit, how can you be losing?

Where are Chavez and Duran?? I picked DelaHoya his talent, size, and abilities at that weight would be hard to beat for anyone, of course the same could be said for most of the guys on there but I just pictured Delahoya being much bigger than them at the weight and went with him. he could box, punch and do everything at that weight, not to mention he has a solid chin.

Well, they probably scored that fight on Ring Generalship and Defense.

If there are no effective aggressiveness or clean, effective punches landed, you could make an argument for scoring a round like that for someone like Pep.

In my opinion it is wrong, it should be an even round.
                      It's boxing, not ballroom dancing.
