I think Oscar is a fairly challenging opponent. The first fight wasn't a blow out, most saw it as being rather close until De la Hoya stopped working in the second half. That said, he's a talented veteran who still has some boxing skills left; which makes him a threat. Can't discount him even if he lost the first fight.
Does De La Hoya Have Any Chance Against Mayweather In A Rematch?

This song I like. Sounds awesome.
And to those who think DLH is anywhere near his prime at this point, what are you looking at?
Look at his reflexes, look at his overall sharpness, look at his confidence.
Tell me this version of Hoya is anywhere near a prime Hoya after you have watched his last fights again...

Their first fight was close, I had it even through 10 rounds, but I really don't see how Oscar can improve. It's not like his hand speed is going to return out of no where. But if he can perform to the same standards as he did in the first fight, and avoid those late middle rounds where Floyd put the ***** punches on him, Oscar can pull out a great Decision. But that's just if Oscar is slick enough to avoid the pop shots.
Dig to the body again, but move away and repeat. Try to set up some heavy shots every now and then, and don't ever, ever, ever forget the body. Since that's Floyd's most vulnerable spot.Comment
