If De La Hoya Couldnt Hurt Mayweather... .. .

Watch the last 10 secs of DLH-PBF 12th round. Oscar buzzed PBF with about the cleanest left hook he landed in the entire fight and it wasn't that flush. If PBF would have brawled like that in the rest of the fight he would have been KO'd.Comment

cotto does have a chance of beating mayweather, he's not invincible.. cotto keeps getting better.. bottom line, the fight needs made, it's the #1 fight in boxing that should be made right now, and it's not because of mayweather.. cotto has a chance of beating mayweather, and if he does then floyd won't be as marketable, and he can lose out on millions.. i just hope mayweather doesn't wait until "he feels the fight is relevant".. it needs to be madeComment

Cotto can only get better & better with every fight he takes...as for DLH, well u know what I mean..i say let Cotto get in there with Margarito & Williams or Andre Berto possibly before Floyd.. Berto could be a tune up before Floyd..Comment

Cotto has the tools to beat Mayweather.. He has timing, a steady jab, good pressure and body work, workrate, he's smart, has power, etc.. There's no point in trying to compare opponents in the past.. The only way is to have them fight.. Honestly, I'm obviously a huge Cotto fan (check my sig), but I see Mayweather winning a close decision, but he's gotta fight him now and not wait a few years, because he's gonna need to be on his top game.. If his reflexes and timing slip a bit, Cotto will get him.. I've said in the past, I think Cotto is the one who can beat Mayweather, and Mayweather is the one who can beat Cotto.. They are truly #'s 1 and 2Comment

What makes you Cotto fans think that he can hurt Mayweather, and on that Note Paulie Maganallie went the distance with Cotto, Mayweather is superior to Paulie. People are on this hype thing to much, gotta stop and look at the reality of this match up. Cotto isnt ready
Um... De La Hoya? Really? Did he even make an effort to hit Mayweather?
I've searched the records and I don't think Cotto ever fought this fella you refer to, Maganallie...
However, Cotto did beat the sense out of a Paul Malignaggi... who in reponse to the viscous beating he received proceeded to run away for th second half of the fight.
Now... what this has to do with Cotto (the unquestionable best welterweight fighter out there) prospectively facing Mayweather, I don't know. But I also don't understand ordinary, run of the mill Boxing scene logic. (i.e. (2 + 2 = 5))Comment
