Power has got nothing to do with it. Cotto brutalizes you, takes away your will and either stops you, or leaves you wounded for a long time.
Just take a look at Cotto's victoms after his fights, their faces are bloodly swollen pulps. Their ribs are jelly etc.
He just plain and simple beats guys up in there. I can see why Mayweather avoids him, because even if he won, Mayweather would be hurting because Cotto would definitely be making a statement in there. It would be a rough fight for both of them. Pualie only went the distance because Cotto broke his hand.
This was not that fake ass **** like Floyd who ran from Baldomir all night.
Cotto was in a cast that very same night.
BTW, did you see Malignaggi's face?
This was a kid who said he was way too fast for Miguel Cotto and Miguel put Malignaggi on his ass in the second round. This was a kid who had never even been hit. This kid was so quick he was pretty much untouchable and yet Cotto touched that ass up. Had Cotto not broken his hand in the 5th. I can assure you that Cotto would have stopped Malignaggi.
Judah hurt Floyd a few times.
Judah knocked Floyd down. It was not ruled a knock down but when your glove touches the canvas for what ever reason, it's considered a knock down. The same fighters that hurt Cotto, also hurt Floyd.
Judah and Corley although I admit that Corley had Cotto on a bad one. That was Cotto at 140. The Cotto at 147 is a lot more solid.

Malignaggi very fast
Judah very fast
Mosley very fast
Floyd is fast and afraid to engage. He relies on pop shots and running. But so does Malignaggi and he got caught.
Floyd against Hatton he was missing a lot and trying desperately for that hell mary that he finally landed against little ricky in the 10th.
Floyd was not as accurate against one dimmensional Ricky Hatton.
Cotto has the best chance at beating Floyd.
Do not be so afraid of this and demand the fight.

Floyd is far better than Malignaggi. Malignaggi can't fight at all on the inside and is not good fighting off the ropes. Only advantage Cotto has over Floyd is power. Which doesn't mean much because most of Floyd's opponents have been stronger/bigger than him.

exactly. cotto has nothing on dlh. dlh has the superior chin, punch-power, punch speed, height, reach and tactics. cotto would get schooled by mayweather. ppl need to get use to the fact that dlh is one of the only guys other than forrest that have a chance at giving mayweather his first loss from 140 to 154. no other fighter has a chance. I don't get the complaining about this fight being made again. it should happen and it needed to happen. mayweather got a SD for god sakes. he got that win by the skin of his teeth. he never came that close to a loss in his entire career. with some tweeks here and there, dlh could get the decision.Comment
