I'm going to repeat myself again because you keep bringing up the same point. Why should Bundrage leapfrog Powell en route to a title shot in spite of his first round KO loss to the number one contender? If a loss is a "fluke" and that automatically discredits it, then should it not count?

And I wouldnt mind seein a Powell-Bundrage rematch neither.
So why exactly should Bundrage get a title shot first, before Powell? This is a moot point because the IBF is probably going to enforce the mandatory because Spinks fought Verno Phillips in an optional defense period.

He isn't shot, he just doesn't want to sacrifice.

2 my understanding ouma had over 3 months to train for the fight against K-9That aint no excuse ....I see why you riding ouma so hard he's a great guy.

Speaking of putting words in my mouth, I don't think you can find a post where I picked Ouma over Bundrage. In fact, I said that people would be wise, given the odds, to bet on Bundrage because I know Ouma to be highly undisciplined when not in camp.

In Bundrage's last notable fight, he was KO'ed by a prospect, Joel Julio. It would be a crime for him to get a title shot over Sechew Powell, who KO'ed him in less than 30 seconds.

I know he's your buddy or cousin or something, but I believe in a boxing where you earn title shots.

well sorry its not like that no a days

Like K-Nine said Powell can still be mandatory ...it will be a better fight and more marketable if K-9 fights Verno instead of Powell.

If what you were saying about Powell getting his shot first is true, then yeah cool beans. But to claim your above statement clearly states that stance is a little bit of a stretch.

Powell fights him first. K9 takes another fight in the meantime. Then K9 fights Phillips.

I'm not ******- the sanctioning bodies wouldn't allow Cornelius to get at Phillips first.

That what I meant when I said - Verno Phillips should be next.

How do we all know that the Powell-Bundrage fight was a fluke. From what I remember of the fight, Bundrage was doing the Trevor Berbick against Mike Tyson, falling all over the place. Nothing fluke about that, unless Powell meant to hit him in the stomach or something.

Powell hasn't beaten anyone of note, unless you count Ishe Smith (which was one of the ugliest fights I've ever attended). That said, Powell doesn't have a first round KO loss to the number one contender on his ledger,

Do you know what a FLUKE is evidently it seems that you don't. Well since you say that about Powell dosen't have a first round KO loss on his record...LOL Now please Asian S tell me how important that is do it matter who K-9 lost to in the past. (K-9 whooped the guy who TKO'd him in 1) Now it goes back to WHO HAVE SECHEW POWELL BEAT? BETTER YET WHO HAVE POWELL FOUGHT? I can tell you who K-9 has fought, and defeated! Kassim Ouma, Joel Julio, Chris Smith, Steve Forbes, Micheal Clark...ALL FORMER CHAMPIONS AND #1 RATED GUYS. The record speaks for itself. Micheal Clark former NABF champ, Steve Forbes former IBF champ, Joel Julio rated #2 by all major belts at the time, Chris Smith former NABF champ, Kassim Ouma I don't have to go there!
