        Bundrage Hands Ouma Another Loss

By Cliff Rold - Once viewed as the heir apparent in the Jr. Middleweight division, the future of 29-year old Nigerian Kasim Ouma (25-5-1, 15 KO) is now cast in serious doubt. In his first contest since consecutive losses to then-World Middleweight champion Jermain Taylor in December 2006 and to the unheralded Saul Roman in November 2007, Ouma found himself on the wrong side of a ten round decision to Contender alumnus Cornelius Bundrage (28-3, 16 KO) at the Seneca Allegany Casino & Resort in Salamanca, NY [details]

          Big Deal.....

Bundrage is no threat at all, he beat a man who is a shell of what he was....Ouma looked like crap.....I hope people don't get overly excited about this very poor fight......I'm especially making refernce to Bundrage, he's still very raw, relies on his "big" right hand way too much...He has no defense except to grab and hold and wait for the Ref to save him, doesn't throw the jab at all, I'm not sure what he's being taught in training....I wish him luck, maybe he can go back to participating in the next Contender Series, bottom line.....i was not impressed!!!

I thought Ouma would whoop this guy and get himself back on track, but he looks like he's finished. Too bad cuz I wanted to see him face Vernon.

I'm really disappointed in Ouma. He doesn't train unless he has a fight coming up, so his body isn't in shape until he has a deal signed. When he's not training he's partying 24/7 and drinking Heinekens until the sun comes up. Unless he can discipline himself, he's never going to be a top contender again. He isn't shot, he just doesn't want to sacrifice.

Can ppl stop focusin on Ouma and realize that K9 was the one who won the fight?? Yall going on about Ouma not trainin properly or whatever, but the fact remains that nobody expected Bundrage to beat him, either way. Give the man his props.

I wanna see Verno Phillips fight Bundrage next.
