    Cortez won't stand for it.
That's definitely a possibility. I personally think this is why Cortez was brought in.

I don't really think the Bika fight is a great example. In that fight Joe had no respect for Bika and fought with his hands down, he was very complacent. And even then he handled Sakio pretty easily and scored a wide UD. I expect Joe to treat this fight very differently.
I believe he won that fight from the outside but when Bika was holding and clenching in the inside Calzaghe didn't seem very comfortable. He was also throwing a lot of wild punches leaving himself to be countered by Calzaghe and of course Bernard is more controlled and accurate.

I think it will be a close fight but I do believe Calzaghe will pull it out.

Joe lost interest in that Bika fight kinda when it was patently obvious he couldn't knock him out.

And this isn't something I just pulled out of my ass, read hopkins recent interview in the ring and other places where he emphasizes on slowing down Joe's high work-rate by effective counter punching and hurting him. Seems pretty logical if that's his plan power training. If you have a problem with that you sensitive little ***** talk **** about hopkins not me.
I notice you didn't trash talk the other people who said exactly the same thing as me. Not only are you an idiot, you're badly wrong and you're a hypocrite. Ignored.

Kessler stunned Calzaghe a couple of times, and that didn't make much of a difference. I doubt Hops has more power than Kessler, even at a higher weight.

it's not that he has more power. but he is a better counter puncher and could catch joe coming in, there by increasing the impact of the punch. alof of you asses know nothing about boxing obviously. see casamayors knockout punch of katsidis, he ran into the punch which increased the impact

I don't see you telling everyone who said the same thing they are wrong....

Could it be that you know I'm right and are now clutching at straws in a lame and ultimately unfruitful attempt to seem intelligent?

True, Hopkins is a talented counterpuncher. He may well catch Joe with that perfect shot. But, the fact remains that Kessler caught Joe with one or two flush, on-the-point-of-the-chin uppercuts, with good balance and planted feet, while Joe was on his way in. Not to mention more than one good counter right hand (B-Hops money punch, arguably), and Calzaghe delt with it. it's hard to see Hopkins knocking Calzaghe down, much less out.
