    3. Tito Trinidad - Welterweight but I give credit to Hopkins for this win regardless.
    4. Jermain Taylor - He lost to him twice .
    5. Antonio Tarver - Became fat after filming "Rocky Balboa" had to lose 4 stone.
    6. Winky Wright - A light Middleweight.

How many TOP 10 Pound for Pound fighters has Calzaghe fought? ZERO.

So lets not talk about Calzaghe has as good a record as Hopkins. Hopkins has Class A Championship experience. Hes a legend. Calzaghe has a good record.
A good record will not beat a legend.

    Fixed it for you.

Every name on Hopkins' great resume has a catch next to it.

Both Hopkins and Calzaghe are HYPED. Both of them. Secondly, Arum wouldn't let Pavlik near Calzaghe even if his life depended on it..

Hi Ed. Just a small correction -- Mikkel was 39-0 when he faced Joe. Peace.

LIke Ricky Hatton, Sloppy Joe will go back home with a record of 44-1 looking for a comeback opponent at the weight he built his career on.

Well Bernard has great genes to thank for being able to squeeze down to 160 and make fights wit HOF'er fighters makeable.

Their brilliant names but honestly if Joe could have humanly got down to that weight he would smashed them both.

Tarver is Hopkins best win outside his middleweight reign. I see nothing wrong with that win. He ****d Tarver. Who is probably just about world class.

And every one of your posts is about Calzaghe. I could understand this, if you were a fan, but actually you seem to be the person most obsessed with Joe Calzaghe on the entire board.

Frankly, your hatred for Calzaghe is bordering on absurd.

Yes, I just decided to look it up, it isn't always good to just rely on memory. I also noticed that he'd beaten at least 4 World Champs including the then 33-4 year old Beyer who'd himself beaten several Champs and defended his title(s?) 6-8 times. Kessler was NO slouch.

And, again my memory betrays me (but this time it may be a good thing) someone was questioning Kessler's being a "unified" champ, since Calzaghe was so good and a champ himself. This is so easy that I suspect a catch.........Weeeel.... Calz was only the WBO Champ and Kessler, (as far as I know) had TWO of the other 3 major title. So he unified at LEAST 2 of them.
I feel so simple writing this, maybe I should just erase it.....Naah! whatever the catch is...I can take being laughed at.

Hopkins defeated Tarver, a man who who defeated an all time great in Roy Jones. Who has Kessler beaten? What has he done besides bringing a alphabet soup title belt into the ring with him? What has Jeff Lacy done besides bringing a inexperienced undefeated record with him to Whales?

Welterweights or not....beating Trinidad and Delahoya is a far greater achievement.
