Valero BY FAR! Amir Khan comes in second since he gets so much exposure without fighting anyone that could be considered a threat.
The most promising truly untested fighter

Wayyy off base.
Soto is a really good fighter and Barrios is legit too.
Has he fought one of the superstars? No. Honestly, I don't think the superstars want to see him right now. Too risky.
But Guzman has def been tested.Comment

I guess I used the wrong words then. I meant a guy who hasn't fought a superstar elite.Comment

nope......barrera had like 1 year to fight him...and didnt want to...it was still the gbp-top rank feud though.......but at least he should have fought other guys instead of soto's left overs.... arum had it easy to make a pacquiao-soto fight.......but i guess he didnt want danger for pacquiao.....soto was definatly a better fight than raheem's drained leftovers, an ancient bloated oscar larios or solis who?...Comment

What? Dawson beat one of the top light heavyweights in Adamek. And in damn near shut-out fashion. (If not for the knockdown)Chad Dawson is a good name to have in this discussion. I haven't seen the rest of those actually.
When I think of the most promising guy, I think of the guy who has shown the least amount of weakness that could possibly cost him a match. Dawson has shown an affinity for getting caught once a fight, but for the most part he sticks to boxing well and not getting hit much. Guzman fights almost a perfect defensive fight from what I've seen.
Berto has a good offense, but I am really worried that his defense is going to get his ass knocked out at one point.
I would say Valero seems to be the most un-tested promising fighter.Comment
