Boxing fans make too much of a loss nowadays. Remember Joe Louis had a loss when he was the same age as Andy Lee. Many fighters are overprotected and have padded records, never fighting anyone who's a risk, because one loss means so much. This approach hurts the sport IMO.
It's sickening how some people will forget about a fighters wins, yet repeatedly bring up a single loss. Anybody can have a bad night, any opponent can come up with his best career performance. Everybody remembers Wlad's and Lennox's losses, yet they don't talk as much about all their wins.
Andy Lee is very talented - he's an excellent boxer on the outside, but he needs to learn how to deal with the inside tactics of less talented tough guys like Vera.
