Lee got hyped up fighting tomato cans. Lee's got only 16 fights. He had a fighter in front of him to make him look spectacular. He's got a very solid amateur background, great size and hall of fame trainer. Pavlik started getting hyped that he would beat Taylor after the Zertucci win, which was like in his 29 fight I believe.

Lee was unnecessarily hyped up. It was too early and he hadn't done ****, next thing you know he's getting clubbered by a club fighter.

Exactly. It's not so much that I hate Andy Lee, or don't think he'll be back. It's more the fact that they ran so much their mouth when Lee was still very green. Making a claim that they could easily beat the MAN of the middleweight division? Yeah right.

"O shyte Vera SUCKS Lee lost to a ****ing bum!!" "Oh shyte Lee would get killd by Pavlik, now let my go sleep with mma cuzzin."

**** man, this is ridiculous. Our OWN fans write fighters off after 1 loss. 1 loss like these men should be godly and that "0" should never have a blemish on it. Andy Lee is STILL a top prospect that has some flaws he will definitely work on. A loss early is much better than a loss late and he will learn from this and be a better fighter. EVERYONE loses and just because you have a loss doesn't mean you are a bum and you suck. So learn the ****ing sport or go watch golf or something, you are the fans I can't stand.
I couldn't agree more, I've never seen a forum full of so many mentally challenged people.

They probably want to put learning to clinch when in trouble first on the list. It's hard to believe all these years after Leonard-Hearns I that Steward's fighters still have that flaw.

                    True.

It's Steward's fault really. He's the one who overhyped him so much. This is why I was against him jumping up in competition so fast. You can have the goods, but you still need to work yourself up and overcome adversity. Now he needs to get himself together and win a rematch.

a loss ain't s*** if you take the loss and use it as motivation not to lose again. it's when the 0 on yo' record defeats you mentally that you need to worry. real champs take a loss then work harder to stay the boss, ya dig?
