People forget that Cotto is a natural Southpaw that fight Orthodox. Come on man, even Zab Judah that is a Southpaw himself, was confused by Cotto "switching-it-up" style. That left hook to the body is so lethal because it's coming from Cotto's strong arm. I don't think Cotto KO's Margarito by head hunting, we all know Marg got a chin. But NO ONE has tested Marg's midsection....WELCOME to COTTO country!

Top Rank doesn't think Cotto can beat Margarito, do they?

If, or when, Margarito took down Cotto it would boost Tony's market value considerably. Meanwhile Miguel Cotto would retain his fanbase almost entirely - even in defeat. Top Rank wouldn't put Miguel against a big, extremely durable, heavy hitter like Margarito unless he was one of theirs, and it was a very wise business move. They stand to benefit more if Cotto loses to Margarito, and they would surely be counting on it.

It doesn't matter if Cotto's fans or the optimists think Cotto can go on forever without getting knocked out. His promotional company has been taking calculated risks and making matchups that clearly indicate they're well aware of the potential danger.. Well aware.

This is a no brainer. We can all talk about this after it happens..
