Really? how can you be so sure of this? how would a faster "snappier" punch hurt more than a well thrown, feet on the ground, heavier punch? i think cotto has more problems with margarito than he would against cintron.

If cintron beats margarito; cotto will be happy (or should be). With that fight i could see cotto stopping cintron around the 8th round.

if margarito beats cintron (which seems to be the more likely scenario) then cotto will have more problems with margarito. its the closer fight.

In a margarito v. cotto fight i could easily see it being action packed (both fighters landing often and constantly) and it going to a close decision. Both fighters would come out looking as if they were in a throwback heavyweight fight when its over.

I would have to say cotto by close decision (real close decision).

Their styles match up perfectly and i would expect nothing less than stellar fireworks.

margarito has a very good chin and cotto's has improved since moving up to 147 so its not that i think a knockout is impossible its just that i give these fighters more credit for their chins and slightly above average defenses to say it goes the distance.
