Clegg: I could just as easily have done Manny and Floyd and then everyone else alphabetical. I don't see a big gap between any of the guys from 3-9.

i dont see how a disputed win put Manny up a place ,if u go on the fact he got the decision fair enough but he should'nt have won the fight IMO so he does'nt merit being placed joint 1std ,it seems both guys are getting merit for a great fight rather than anything else
Cotto below JMM i disagee strongly about thatComment

Had him at 10; swapped him for Mijares. He could easily still be there but when you watch both fighters, I think the speed, defense, footwork and integrated game of Mijares is more impressive along with a string of solid wins.Comment

Still think 2 number 1's is a tad bit of a cop out. Don't be politically correct. There can only be ONE number 1.Comment

This list sucks. Joe Calzaghe should be around 5th. Bernard 3rd. Floyd First. And Linares over Pavlik?!?! Sort it out! But your opinion I guess.Comment

You don't think that Fernando Montiel is a better Jr. Bantam than Mijares? If you do, why isn't Montiel in the list? If you don't, please don't tell me that the Arce fight is what put him in so high esteem because Arce should be at 108 or 112, 115 is too much for him.Comment

PR: It's a combination of factors. Arce isn't his best win; Kawashima (twice) and Navarro are. I noted before the Castillo fight that Martin looked on the slide. Montiel proved it. Watch Munoz-Kawashima and compare it to Mijares's performances. I can flip a coin between Montiel and Mijares and one or the other was going in at ten but the fact that Mijares has won on hostile turf (Kawa in Japan and Arce in Texas) and didn't flinch mattered a lot. Montiel has flinched in the oast (though not at all last month). They fight in one of boxing's most talented division and are its two best. I lean slightly to Mijares but anyone that argues Montiel instead is cool with me. This isn't a science.Comment
