Hatton called him out too. Floyd called out Mosely, Tsyzu and Oscar when Floyd was fighting below 140, not his fought those fights werent made earlier.

But at least Roy faced the best of his era in Toney, Hopkins and Tarver. You can say that he ddidn;t go to Europe when 168 was hot but you can also argue that nobody from Europe came here when RJJ was p4p #1

All true, no question. I give Roy a higher ATG status than Floyd.

Talking and facing the best are two different things.

Look how Roy had his track shoes on in those fights too. If Floyd fought Cotto and ran the whole fight and still won, many would be negative about it, buy somehow youre positive about Roy and how he fought those "famous" fighters.

This thread isn't about comparing Roy and Floyd but if you want to go that way Roy's resume is better. DLH's resume is better, Cotto's resume is better, Zab has faced better fighters and in their prime than Floyd.

Someone brought Roy up and how they respected him I merely said if Floyd fought top guys like that people would still be negative towards him. Having names on your record means nothing, some nobodys have top names on their record. Oscar's isnt better because he lost to almost all of them.
