why are Cottos fans so desperate to see their boy get bust up this early in his time at welterweight? cos that what Floyd will do....... bust this can up.

So why doesn't Cotto, the current #1 contender, deserve a shot? He's way more accomplished than Mayweather was going into the Hernandez fight. Hell, Cotto is more accomplished at welterweight right now than Mayweather.

You are basically saying:

Since mayweather got a shot at Hernandez
( one of the division champions at the time and not even ranked in the top 20 p4p when they fought)

Cotto should get a shot at Mayweather
(Greatest of his Generation, P4P #1 Fighter in the WORLD since 05, and so on..)

So you are saying that Floyd is in the Same position as Hernandez right now ..?

Who gives a **** about the money? Both guys are going to get paid well. Just like Hernandez and Mayweather got paid well for their fight considering their positions in the sport at the time. It's not like Cotto is a FNF fighter right now. He's already a proven draw on HBO and PPV. Put both of them in the ring with ****ty opponents and they both do the same numbers.

We all know how you feel about Baldomir. Floyd's fight with Baldomir was on par with Cotto-Mosely numbers.

Their common opponent Judah. Mayweather-Judah sold more than Cotto-Judah by more than 120k

What does a resume have to do with who the better fighter is? I said "on paper" as in resume.

Hatton was ranked higher P4P then Cotto. Hatton was the real jr.welterweight champion when Cotto was just a WBO jr.welter title holder.

Hatton won the same WBA welterweight title before Cotto did. He also vacated that title which is why Cotto has it now.

i'm his fan and i'll watch him fight that maricon anytime. what i dont know is why is fans want to see their boy getb busted up by Floyd when theres lots of other fighters he cud go to war with and make great fights for them. its like they dont see Floy as any threat to Cottos career. Money will get in the ring with Cotto....... and Cotto will never be the same again afrter. hear it. believe it.
