Listen, I'm not defending him at all, but it's unfair to say he's ducking this man! I'm like everyone else I don't want to see Oscar/Floyd II & I don't want to hear about Floyd fighting anyone else but Cotto (unless it's a tune-up to the Cotto fight)... I want to see the best fighting the best period! I'm just saying in this case, his has the potential to be Biggest Fight in the last 20 yrs (yes bigger than Trinidad v De La Hoya & Tyson v Holyfield) 2 undefeated fighters, both (semi) house-hold names, so Y rush it?
We all know Floyd is about the money, but most of what he says you have to take with a "grain of salt". Honestly Floyd has no reason for NOT fighting him, but when you can 20mil + on a "easy" fight against someone who is popular & have already beaten then Y not take that fight? It sucks for the fans, but it makes GOOD BUSINESS SENSE for Floyd! It's sad to say, but i guess that's all that matter to Mr. Money these days...
"Back in the day" boxers fought the best no matter how much they were getting paid, b/c they wanted to PROVE themselves against the ELITE, but in the days of greedy promoters & networs trying to "milk" the fighters, you don't see it as often! I DEFINTELY feel where everyone is coming from, but we have to put this in the proper perspective!

How quickly u have changed your tone. Plain and simple, as fans, we should demand nothing less than the best fighting the best. Problem is, some fans get too involved in whats in the best interests of certain fighters. Thats none of our business, nor should it be our concern. These fighters have attorneys, advisors, promoters to deal with that.
